MEAT QUESTION
AGREEMENT IN NOW LIKELY; MR COATES REMAINING. (Per Press Association, Copyright). WELLINGTON, July 9. With reference to the cablegram from London stating the Hon. J. G. Coates was leaving for Now Zealand next week, it is understood Mr Coates is now remaining in England at the express wish .of the British Government which, apparnetly, i,s in the hope ol reaching an agreement on the meat question.
