NEW YORK, December 10. A message from Denver (Colorado), says that a cautious statement by Governor E. 0. Johnston, to-day, indicated that Denver physicians Jhave achieved success in the development of a serum to prevent tuberculosis. IN The GoVemor stated he expects the ■physicians to ask for the early pardons for, two convicts who risked their lives on the promise of pardons if they permitted themselves to be, innoculated with thousands pf live tuberculosis bacilli after they had, been, given the serum. The Governor said he had been informed the bacilli failed to produce the disease, indicating they were immunised.

The conviots are the first humans upon which serum has been tested, and physicians said the experiments might result in death.
