MUCH RESENTMENT CAUSED.

(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright).

LONDON, December 9,

. Tile British United Press correspondent at Rome says there is much resentment regarding the decree threatening to temporarily disorganise tourist trade, and the operations of Italian branches of foreign banks. Those most affected are American heiresses married to Italian noblemen. It is estimated the decree will give the Government control of £20,000,000, the Italian investments in the United States largely consisting of the fortunes of the “Dollar Princess”.
