ENGLISHWOMEN v. VICTORIA (Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE, December 7. The first match of the British women cricketers in Victoria commenced today. England in the first innings scored 119. Nearly two thousand watched the play, which was bright and interesting. Victoria’s bowling was surprisingly effective. The batswonien were displaying sound tactics and footwork.
