JAPANESE AT SINGAPORE
(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). SINGAPORE, December 7. Sensational developments have follodcr the death of a prominent Singapore Japanese merchant, Y. Nicliimura. He died in the office of the special branch of the detectives two days ago. The police, who are reticent, questioned many prominent members of the Japanese Association. Two have been detained. Possibly they will be banished. The police also have seized many documents. Rumours current suggest a gigantic espionage svstem, which is associated with the visit of two Jannnoso, who left early this week, and regarding whom the rolice were questioning Nish imura when his death occurred.
