ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET PRICES AT YESTERDAY’S SALE (Per Press Association Copyriy/ii.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 2. Features of to-day’s live stock sa.lp at Addington were large offerings of catle and pigs. There was no rise in prices, but competition was keeh for good sorts within schedule limits. There was a small yarding of store sheep, comprising mostly half truck lots competition was not so elastic, except for forward lots of lambs. Ewe lambs were firm. There was a keen demand for all adult sheep. '
There was \a. full offering of fat sheep. Values showed no quotable change, better sorts remaining firm .throughout. . There was a small yarding of fat lambs, but very few prime lots were on offer. Values were firm for all classes up to the schedule. Extra heavy lambs sold to 295, prime heavy 24s to 275, medium’ 21s to 23s Cl, lifiht from 16s.
There was another heavy , yarding of beef, over seven hundred head were mixed in quality. There was a heavy supply of unfinished lots. Best grades sold well, considering the yarding. Plain and medium sorts were easier.
There was an exceptionally large yarding of pigs. All grades were - a little easier the exporters operating lightly.
