X.S.W. SHOOTING TRAGEDY (Auistralian Press Association). SYDNEY, May 2. A shooting tragedy occurred on a dairy farm in the Miami district, in the vicinity of Newcastle. Emanuel 1 foot, aged 52, and his wife, aged 44, are dead. The latter was apparently killed first. The top of her head was blown off. The husband, it is reported, committed suicide with a shotgun, their son witnessing the father’s act from the milking shed.
The family consists of nine. The motive for the tragedy is unknown.
