The “Times’ ” Dublin correspondent says the Free State Government has decided to convert the vice-regal lodge, unoccupied since Mr Buckley’s appointment as Governor-General, into a museum for science and art. The lodge grounds will be thrown open to the public, and the kitchen garden let to a market gardener. Buckley lives in his own private residence and does not participate in public functions.
