HUTOHISON—ROCHFORD

The wedding was celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Kumioia, yesterday morning by Rev. Father Seward, of Clare, fouith daughter of Air and the late Mrs John Roehford, Dillmanstown, and William, fifth son of Air and Airs John Hutchison, Kanieri. The bride, who was given away by her father, wor,3 an ankle length bock of cherry crepe de chine, relieved with coffee lace, and wore hat and shoes to tone. She carried a bouquet of lilies and pule pink roses and maidenhair Urn. Mi s Doreen Roehford, sister of the bride, attended, wearing a frock of blue georgette relieved with gold, and lmt iai.d shoes to tone. She carried a bouquet of pale pink asters, and maidenhair fern. The Lest man was Air G. Hutchison, brother of the bridegroom. The reception was held at the residence of All’s G. McEu ancy, sister of the bride. Mr and Airs Hutchison left later for 'Onrisbchurcli and Wellington, the bride travelling in a black and white ensemble, with hat and shoes to match.

The wedding was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth on Monday evening, of Valma, only daughter of Mr and Mrs C.Jlaglund, and George William, eldest son of Air and Airs A. G. ,Gunn, Cobden. Archdeacon J. A. Jermyu performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a handsome intricately cut gown of ivory si 11c georgette, and chantilly lace, designed on long, graceful lines. The tight-fitting bodice, of georgette had unusual low shoulder lines, from .which were inset puffed lace sleeves, drawn in at the elbows, and continued down to a point over the wrist. The waist-line was defined by a large rucked bow of georgette, caught at thi back, and the skirt fell in widening flares to the ground. Her beautifully embroidered tulle veil fell to form a long train. She carried a sheaf of lilie.s and roses.

Ihe bride was attended hy Misses Mable Kyle and Evelyn Smith, who wore respectively dainty t rocks • of apple green and fondant pink georgette, made with tight-fitting bodice, and petal-capelet collars. The full skirts fell gracefully to their ankles, having six godets of , knee-length frills. Sashes of velvet finished with flat bows on the side, adorned the waist. With these : were worn long silk mittens, and att-iactive head-dress-es of velvet (lowers. Both wore satin shoes to match, and carried shower bouquets.

The..-two little flower girls, Boggy Buy and Zell,a Steele, wore frocks of blue and lemon georgette respectively, made in early-period style, with Quaker collars, little puffed sleeves, and. the hemline edged with rose. They wore head-dresses of velvet flowers, and mittens to match their frocks, and carried dainty po?ies. The best man was Mr Roy ITaglr.nd, brother of the bride, while Mr Horace Anderson was groomsman. Mr T. F. Savage presided at the organ. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a lucky horse-shoe by her cousin, Betty Haglund.
