Immediately after the arrival here of the New Zealand Dairy Board representatives to-day, they entered into a. conference 'at Sydney with the representatives of the. Australian Dairy Produce Export Board, and discussed tile problem of butter export restriction. It is expected concrete proposals will be submitted tomorrow. No statement wag issued for publication. It was stated, unofficially, that the majority of the Australian delegates, numbering- twelve) did not favour any restriction. Til© remainder insisted that there was no alternative, and that it would be better in the long run to pursue that course. Mr O. Hanbary, one of the Australian delegation, recently visited New Zealand, and he presented his report to his colleagues, covering his visit to the Dominion.
