A NEW POLICY

SCHLEICHER’S UNDERTAKING.

General, Schleicher has undertaken to form a. Cabinet. He intends to adopt ’ a | policy of compromise, abandoning tliei ideas of revising the constitution ill the hope of averting open hostility with the lteichstag. The new German Cabinet will consist of the following members: —

Chancellor 'and Defence Minister, General Kurt von Schleicher. He thus will control the army in the event of forcible opposition; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Herr von Neurath; Minister of the Interior, Herr Bracht; Minister of Finance, Herr von Krosiek Lutz; Minister of Justice, Herr Guertner; Minister of Traffic and the Post Office, Herr von Ruebenach. The Reichstag will open on December 6th. >
