CHRISTCHURCH, November 20. “On account of increased applications for help, the managers of the various relief depot s have been at their wits’ end to make the supplies go round,” states Mr J. W. Woodbury, director of the Central Depot. “It is really alarming to find that the numbers are increasing at this time of the year; last year the applications decreased considerably during the summer months,” he said.
