FRENCH CABINET DEFEAT. (United Press Association. —By Electric i e Jegrapn. —p> l ign > PARIS, February 16. r J’lie Government were deteated by 157 to 134 votes, by the Senate refusing 19th. February as the date for debating the general policy, the acceptance of which M. Laval made a question of confidence. The defeat necessitates M. Tardicu’s ‘immediate return from Geneva, leaving M. Boncour to represent France. M. Barthou mav form a Cabinet.
