STRIKERS BOMBED

(United Press Association—By Electrip Telegraph.—Copyright V ;r; -,t''/ :^NcouvEß ); August 11, ; W-' Tvjro airimeh, in.a monoplane, bombed the’coa»l>minihg area around Providence, in Kentucky, where strikes have tied up the properties since April 9th: ° / The bombs used were loaded with dynamite and were charged with iron slugs. When ‘ they were dropped only two' exploded. .There were no casualties, although one exploded perilously near a group of workmen. Intense excitement followed tire visit of the unknown plane which did the bombing, and which departed norths ward. The crashing of the bombs could be heard for miles, and it threw the town of Providence into an uproar.
