APPEAL DISMISSED

SYDNEY, June 5
The Full Court dismissed the appeal of A. E. Dalwood against the Equity Court, verdict that he should pay £27,000 sterling on account of certain transaction arising from' his purchase of an interest in the “Sunday Times” from- 11. D. Mclntosh. On learning of the decision, Dalwood collapsed and became seriously ill. It is understood the staffs of the “Sunday Times” which is in a receiver's hands have been notified that the paper will not appear again unless a purchaser is found before th e weekend.
MURDERS AND SUICIDE
SYDNEY, June 5
Henry Hopkins, a local butcher, at Culeairn shot bis son Roy, aged 22, liis wife, and then himself all dead.
BURGLARS’ HAUL. MELBOURNE. June 4
Burglars raided the jewellers premises of King and Company n Bourke Street-. They cut a hole in a large safe and stole between seven and ten thousand pounds worth oi diamonds.
