WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS
There was a large audience at the Princess Theatre last evening; l when the Westminster Glee Singers gave a delightful entertainment. From start to finish the artists were made welcome
and every item gave pleasure. There were repeated recalls to every number, and a well pleased crowd went home with very pleasant recollections of a very enjoyable evening. There were only a few solos, most of the items being in part songs and quartettes. The singing throughout was very fine, and the blending of the voices excellent. Special favour was won by the » vocal accompaniment to a soloist. The various items were given without any waits, and whether it was the (full chorus, the five boys, or solo, the item was a good one and the repeated bursts of applause expressed the appreciation of the pleased audience. The light comedy element was also pleasantly introduced in some glees, and these were heartily received, causing much added enjoyment. Altogether the entertainment was a bright and thoroughly enjoyable one, worthy of the excellent reputation that preceded the combination.
