SUN SPOTS
By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 30. A remarkable sunspot phenomenon is now observable. A string of spots extends almost across the sun. Seventy spots were counted this morning. A particularly large one was visible to the naked eye in the middle of the line lnivin,g a total diameter of about 39.000 miles. There nay therefore lie magnetic disturbances within three days.
