Though rain fell on Saturday causing the Grey green, to he unplayable, ami in spittt of the heavy shower at 11 a.m., the local green was in very good order for play on Saturday afternoon, and though there were a couple of light showers, it was not sufficient to stop play, which continued from 2.30 till 6 p.m.
