CITY GARAGE AFIRE
BRIGADE’S TIMELY ARRIVAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association). DUNEDIN, Sept. 27. A fire broke out in Davidson and Gillies’ Garage, in Moray Place, at 1.30 this morning, and three cars and the workshop were badly damaged. The Brigade was just in time to save tne fire spreading to the main building and consequent serious loss. The portion of the building damaged is insured in the Victoria Office for £7O, and the contents, equipment and second-hand cars in the A.P.A. Office for £4OO. £IOO and £SOO respectively. The total damage is estimated at £6OO.
