Ignoring the tragic lesson of last Saturday, when a lad was ifatallj mauled by a shark, six surfers entered the water at Bondi last night. They were about fifteen yards from the shore when sharks made their appearance. One man found himseli surrounded by three monsters and he made a dash for the beach. One shark rushed at him but missed. The man managed to reach the shore in safety. Alter the ordeal, the man collapsed on the beach paralysed with fear. He was incapable of speech for many minutes. Hundreds oi people gathered to watch shark fishermen trying to catch the sharks hut thej were unsuccessful.
