THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES.
Daylight Saving. “T have been for IS years a supporter of daylight saving,” said Mr T. M. Wilford, at Eastbourne, “and my experience in Great Britain, France, and Canada lias not changed that opinion. France, principally' an agricultural country, finds no difficulty with the fanners, while the farmers df England made no protest against the principle while 1 was in England in 1926 and this year. In Montreal the railways keep their own time independent of the change of an hour in the city, and no inconvenience is experienced, while the granting of the extension spells health and happiness to many millions.”
