GENERAL HAIG’S REPORTS.
AIR REPORTS. LONDON April 3. Marshal Haig’s aviation report states that we harrassed the enemy troops and transports with bombs and machine guns. Hostile aeroplanes are active between Albert and Moreuil. We downed twenty-one aeroplanes . and three balloons, while seven of ours are missing. Our night bombers dropped four and a half tons of bombs on hostile billets and troops. The American air service during the past fortnight has rendered invaluable service.
SHARP FIGHTING. LONDON, April 3. Marshal Haig reports that we repulsed, after "sharp fighting, a- determined attack in the neighbourhood of Fainboux.
