A French communique states: From June 21st to June 30th our chasing planes brought down ninoteen enemy aeroplanes, in addition fourteen enemy machines were seriously damaged anu fell behind their o\v lines. FRENCH AIR RAIDS. A ON A BIG SCALE. LONDON, July 8. French communique.—The enemy air raided on Nancy regions on Friday. A hospital was bombed, three persons being killed and four wounded. Several were wounded at E'pernay.
Eighty four French machines m u series of brillant operations on Friday nighgt, attacking a town for enemy territory reprisals and German bombardmelhsts. Eleven dropped -2S bombs o n Troves, causing fires, s i* bombed Ludwigshafen and great llc f on, tho anelino works being aflame. One pilot bombed Krupps-works a 1 Essen. He started at 9.10 in evening and returned at 4.15 i* th« morning, covering 440 miles. Military establishments at Ooblent and stations at Hirvon and Thionvilli were bombed.
