DELEGATION TO NEW ZEALAND

WELLINGTON, Sept 7. The delegation is coming to Zea.land at the invitation or the Government, and will tour the Dominion for the purpose of seeing what field the country offers for Imperial immigrants and what class can be most readily absorbed +J ir h H; 1 .D\ T Thom Pson" (Undersecretary for the. New Zealand Immigration Department) and Mr. J. Hislop (UnderSecretery for Internal Affairs) are leaving Wellington to-morrow for the purpose of meeting the visitors. The delegates will come straight to Wellington, arriving on Tuesday afternoon next! Here .the delegates will meet Lord Jellicoe and members of the Government before undertaking their tour

The British Overseas Settlement delegation expect to be in New Plymouth on the evening of the 27th inst., leaving the following afternoon. It is expected the Chamber of Commerce and the \ict<>ria League will meet and entertain the delegation during their stay m New Plymouth.—News.
