MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.

HAWERA V. WAVERLEY. On Wednesday night last a number of members of the V\ averley Miniature ilifie Club journey to Hawera and tried conclusions with the local club. On their arrival at the range they were briefly welcomed by the president of the local club, who Avished the visiting team luck in their first outside match. Considering that the Waverley team were on a strange range with different lighting conditions, and also that it was necessary for some of the Waverley members to us-e strange rifles, the match was even close,!- than the. scores indicate.
