♦ NEW BRITISH MACHINE. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPY.»iGHT ! LONDON, June 7. A new British fighting aeroplane, constructed by Messrs, Tickers, Ltd., is ready to undergo the final flying trials. It is a two-seater, fitted with a single Napier-Lion engine. It is expected the machine, even when equipped with its crew, machine-guns and armaments, will have a speed of a- hundred and fifty miles an hour, or thirty | to forty miles more than any fighting machine in the Government air service. | The fighting 'plane eventually adopted by the Air Ministry will be ordered on a considerable scale to replace the present machines and equip the new air squadrons which have been sanctioned.
