i Mrs. Barltrop and Miss RobieSDii, ' Loth of Wellington, and representing the St. John Ambulance Association, arrived in Hawera by the express last I night. These two iadies are giving their se it ices in organising classes in first aid and home nursing in the various centres, and at their meeting in the Council Chambers to-night will give a practical demonstration of their work. It is to be hoped that the men and Indies of Hawera will do their best to give this great work an ausp'cious start off to-nis;ht. Dr. A. Morton Young will be in the chair.
