The 7000-ton motorship Asia, bound from Newcastle to Valparaiso, is travelling full speed to Wellington in urgent need of medical attention for Captain Dalil, master of the vessel, who is reported to be seriously ill. A radio from the vessel states'that she "should arrive at Wellington to-morrow morning- The Asia is a vessel of 7014 tons. She left Newcastle last week for Valparaiso.
