BOXER'S DEATH

General regret is expressed here at the tragic death at Auckland of Cyril AVhitaker, who worked in the mines here for some time and .represented the Buller Rugby Union on several occasions. He was regarded as a man of singularly fine character, and on© of the "whitest men who had ever entered the boxing arena.
