ELTHAM BOY SCOUTS.
GIFT FROM OVERSEAS CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The Overseas Club has made a very fitting presentation to the Eltham Boy Scouts, viz., a New Zealand Ensign and also three volumes on the British. Empire. The president of the local branch, Mr. W. T>. Ross, in a patriotic speech, made the presentation on Thursday evening. The chairman of the local scout committee, Mr. G-. W. Tayler, Mayor, also spoke a few words .of an appreciative nature. Rev. Knowles-Smith replied oh behalf of the scouts, and thanked the Overseas Club for their valued gift. i '
