MAGISTRATES COURT.

BY DEFAULT.
At the Magistrate's' Court yesterday judgment /was given for plaintiff. by default in each of the following civil cases: J. Blake and Sons v. C. J. Campbell and G. J. Campbell, a claim for £12 16s 9d; Mortlocf and CV> v. W. Goldfinch, £9 I7s; F. GiUanders v. J. W. J. Gardner, £56 13s. In the case Joseph, Quin;, v. Charles Hopping, Leslie Hopping, and Victor Norman Hopping, a claim for £80, judgment was given against. Victor Norman and Leslie Hopping, and the,' case. against Charles Hopping was adjourned for proof of service. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. '
W. O'Brien proceeded against S. Goodman for an order on a judgment summons for £6 11s. An order was made' for payment of the amount with costs forthwith; in default seven days* imprisonment.
