Received Oct. 12, 8.45 am. ■CAPETOWN,'Oct. Vll.- ' Unprecedented scenes in connection with. Hickson's faith-healing mission are reported^, among the natives iof_the Transvaal.' On one occasion near Pietersburg the missioner found himself confronted by an enormous crowd of over ten thousand natives. The sick were placed in long lines of a hundred each. He laid his hands on over seven thousand. .. At the conclusion of the mission, as ,the Christians were singing the Nunc Dimittis, the heathens threw away their charms and amulets. Numerous cures are reported, and' a tremendous impression has-'beep made. The opinion is expressed that the result may be a movement for which no branch of the Christian church is prepared. . ■ , ;
