METROPOLITAN SHOW.
The attention of readers is drawn to the fact that stock entries for the above close on Saturday, 14th inst., and remind all intending exhibitors to, see that all their entries are in by that date. General entries and Manawatu Kennel Club entries dosed last Saturday. The figures for these are not yet available. The stock divisions are very much the same as last year, with a few additions, chief of which is the division for Southdowns in natural condition, which; should prove as popular as the classes started a few years ago for the Boinneys in natural condition. Entries for all ring events will also close on Saturday. There are separate competitions each day of the show, and the prizes and trophies are | numerous and valuable. • Late stock entries will be received up till 21st inst., with a late fee, but the correct iate of closing is October 14. Any in- I formation may be readily received from the secretary, Box 85, Palmerston IST.
