The April Bogey Handicap last week was played on the full course, Beechey returning a splendid card of 2 up. The best results were as below: Beechey (handicap 14), 2 up; Elliott (8), 1 down; Cox (11), 1 down; Sutton (8), 2 down; Fletcher, (12), 4 down; Bayley (9), 4 down; Ritchie (17), 6 down; Ryan (8), 6 down. The first round for the patron's trophy will be played this week. Players are reminded of the conditions of this match. Best' net aggregate of three medal rounds; the second round will be played in June and the final in July. Players are requested to arrange with their partners as drawn, and if unable to play to communicate with the captain (Mr F. W. Sutton) at once to enable redraw.
