AN IMPORTANT DISTRICT EVENT.

Quite an epoch in the,history of Kaponga will be the opening of "the new power-house in connection with the Kaponga district electricity supply, which event will be performed by Mr. O. Hawken, M.P., at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday next. The, Kaponga Chamber iof Commerce, in association with the i Kaponga Dairy Company, issue a most ' cordial invitation, to residents of Kaponga. and district and all others interested to he present at the ceremony. It is expected there will be a very large, gathering at this important event.
