(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ABBOCI.. T101... WELLINGTON, April 29. The New Zealand Rugby Union formally resolved to invite a British team to tour New Zealand in .1924, and not to send auy New Zealand team abroad until 1925 at the earliest.

It was decided to recommend the setting apart "Of one Saturday this season by every union as a charity Saturday. At the request of Mr Clutha Mackenzie, M.P., a portion of the proceeds will be devoted to the Pearson Fund for the blind.

The offer of the Dominion Sportsmen's Association to present ten shields for competition among primary schools was declined with thanks.

Tlje opening game's in Wellington will be played under the old rules, and the question of adopting the amended rules will be discussed'later.
