COMMENTS ON TEAM.

SYDNEY, April 29. Critics, commenting on the New Zealand ladies' tennis team, say they seem to fall short of the high standard of the 1909 team, but had hardly a fair chance in tiie earlier games, arriving only three days before the matches commenced. Miss Curtis, however, fully justified the glowing comments on her prowess. The variety of play and the judgment shown were excellent. As the matches advanced the team's play steadily improved.
