AUCKLAND RACES.
The Auckland races opened in dull and cold weather. After a very wet night the track was sodden. Results:
President's Handicap.—Uncle Ned 1, Glencannv 2 Boomerday 3. Scratched: Kick Off. Tinohoro. Pine Arch, Infante and Penona. Won by a nose., with two and a half lengths between second and third. Time, 2.12 3-5.
Brighton Hurdles. —Killard 1 Poaniii 2, Oakleigh 3. Scratched: Shellshoek. Keystone. Explorer and No Bother! Won by four lengths. Time, 3.57.
Oaks.—Bonny Doreen 1, Cleasanta 3. Ihe only starters. W<">r< by two and a half lengths. Time, 2.48 2-5
