Tasmania blue& 440s 'to 500s a quarter. Beans are steady. Wheat freights are very quiet, a ■ steamer fixed for April loading at Syd~iied 47s 6d for one port of discharge -and 48s 9d for two ports. Sugar is unchanged. ■ The principal decreases in imports "for March were: Meat £2,908,132, -other non-dutiable food £2,910,669, oils -and fats £2,028,102. Decreases in ex"ports were > Cotton yarns £2,026,454, ,'machinery £1,417,675. Increases were shown in the following imports • Wool £2,748,392, grain andilour £1,610,482, -Taw cotton £1,418,131. The increase >in the export of coal was £1,503,433.
