. I—.1 —. OEO SPORTS. There was an exceptionally good attendance at the Oeo Sports Club's fifth : annual sports gatixox^ng, which was held in Mrs Hikaka's paddock yesterday. Entries had been received from all over the province and a most successful function resulted. All the- events were good, but the wood chopping was made j a special feature. To the energetic sec- : retary and committee are due the : thanks of all who are connected with the club's activities. In the evening the club's annual dance was held in the Oeo Hall. As usual,'the buliding was crowded with dancers, but nevertheless, thanks to the M.C.'s s Messrs Taylor and Conza, the floor was specially well man T aged. The musical programme was in the capable hands of Mrs Bradley, who was assisted by MrsMcGarvie and Mr I>. Duncan.
