FIRE AT ELTHAM.

AT EGMONT BOX COMPANY'S I PREMISES.

;. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Fire broke out in the premises of the Egmont Box Company, Ltd., at 12.30 this morning. The alarm was given promptly and the brigade was soon on the spot, and, thanks to their efforts, . the fire was confined to two stacks of i timber, only a short distance from the | mam factory building. The fire soon blazed up fiercely, and at first it looked .as though a very serious mishap was | going to happen, but eventually it was , confined to two stacks only, and on inspection this morning it was found that no great amount of damage was done.
