Special attention is drawn to the '.sale on Thursday by the Farmers' •Co-op, on behalf of the Decorating •Company, at their premises, High ;Street, of thousands of rolls of wall and ceiling papers, paints, varnishes, brushes and glass. The sale will be quite undeserved and will commence at 11 a.m.
At 2 p.m. also on Thursday, March" "SO, the firm will submit for unreserved -sale 27,000 feet of seasoned building timber in first-class order on their section, opposite Hodder and Tolley's in ~%nion Street. The timber will be sold lots to suit purchasers, and full derails will be given in Wednesday's Star. The auctioneers draw special attention $o the fact that the 'timber will be teold without reserve, so that it will be a good opportunity to secure such timber.
Smith and Easton will hold a sale jbf boots and shoes, also fruit of nil descriptions and furniture to-morrow (Tuesday) at 2 p.m.
