(BY TELEGRAPH —PKESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHUECH, Mar. 25. The Cheviot Club's races were held at Eiecarton course. The weather was fine, the track good, and the attendance fair. The totalisator handled £17,339, against £2865 10s last year, when the meeting was held at Cheviot. Results:

Brookdale Hurdles—Likelihood 1, Malineourt 2, Sonny 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, 2.47. Trial Stakes—Hollock 1, Martis 2, Balefire 3. Won by four lengths Time, 1.13 2-5.

Parnassus Handicap—Fabrinade 1, Some Kid 2, Amendment 3. Won by four lengths. Time, 1.27 4-5. Cup—Castellan 1, Palestrina 2, Poo Chow 3. Won by wto lengths. Time,

Spotswood Welter—Wartone 1, High Heels 2, Red Gown 3. Won by a length Time, 1.28 1-5.

Mina Handicap—Will Oakland 1, Kinfane 2, Tatau Tatau 3. Won by a length. Time, 1.1 2-5.

Domett Handicap—Roniform 1, Grim Joke 2, Dame Straitlace 3. Won by a head. Time, 1.42 2-5.

Mackenzie Handicap—Linelight 1, Some Kid 2, Pyjama 3. Won by four lengths. Time, 1.14.
