RACING AT HOME.
BT CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT LONDON, March 24. For the Grand National Steeplechase there were 32 starters. Southampton, the favourite, fell at the first fence, while Clashing Arms and Shaunspadab second and fourth favourites, fell soon after. Only five horses completed the course. The race was won by twelve lengths, the third horse being six lengths away.
