HOCKEY CLUB.
F.LTHAM CLUB'S MEETING.
The, annual meeting of the Eltham Men's Hockey Club was held in the C.E.M.S. rooms yesterday. Mr. H. 0 Johnson presided over a good attendance. The chairman congratulated the club on its excellent record and its financial position, and hoped that such would continue to be the case.
Officers wer«i elected as follows: Patron, Mr. O. J. Hawken;1 president, Mr. C. J. Ponuington; vice-presidents, Messrs L. Wilson, W. Waters, R. D. L. A. Astbury, C. Maslin, W. Lambie, A. Tiplady, H. Grubb. W. Heyes, C. E. MoGuinness, I. Bridger, P. Bilton; secretary, D. Miller; treasurer, R. Freathey ; management committee. Messrs Pennington, Harrison, Johnson, and McGuinness; selection committee, Messrs Penningtoa and Johnson, together with the captain and vro-captain; delegates t» the associaI tion, Messrs A. (i. Anderhon and C. : Harrison. ! It was decided to elect the captain •and vice-captain at the first match. Shibsc-riptions wore fixed at 7s 6d for seniors and 3s for juniors. | The possibility of forming a B grade team was discussed, and it was decided that evory endeavour should be made i in this direction. ! It wan decided to hold the first practice on March 30, and the meeting closed with a'vot« of thanks to the chairman
