Herr Gucrtlor ? the new Minister for 'SHha'nce, speaking in the Natioiftil , Assembly, outlined a far-reaching' programme in an effort to restore the financial situation in Austria. He proposes gradually to reduce" and abolish the food sirtmdies and reorganise the administration, reducing the number of officials. The State is also to take & share in export industries, and Issue an external 4oan on the basis proposed fey the League of Nations. It is hoped that these, with minor measures, will bring the banknote printing presses to a standstill*. *
