OPUNAKE CLUB

(From Our Own Correspondent.) j A special meeting of members of the Opunako Bowling Club was held on Wednesday evening, Mr. Graham Hammond presiding over a large attend- i aHce. In response to a communication from the secretary of the Centre stating that it was desired to place the question of club colours on a satisfactory footing, it was resolved to apply for the registration of emerald green and black as the club's colours. It was I decided that the official opening of the green take place on October 8. The green warden reported that the green was in splendid order. A working bee was arranged to clean up, etc. The following now members wero elected: Messrs J. S. Winstanley, C. O. Edmonds, T. Rudd F. F. Barraeiough, Morto Hickoy C. A. Woolford, A. E. Wiggins, It. Peat, B. F. Bowman, A. E. Collins, and It. Morris.
