Received Sept. 12, 12.25 pjn. CAPETOWN, Sept. 11. The Railwaymen's Union has informed the Government that it will refuse to "accept the revised Hours of working, withdrawing the eight houis day conferred by the labour clause of th&iPeace Treaty and ratified by Parliament.

The fiercest blizzard for many years is -raging over the greater part of Natal and the Free State. Trains are snowed up. . Maritzburg has been,cut off from the .north for forty-«ight hours.
