Hunters' Hurdles—Oak Rose (R. Hunt) 1, Temaire 2, Gay Jacket 3. Scratched: Scimitar, Tipperary Lass. Won by three lengths with six lengths between second and. fh'ird. Time, 3min. 23sec.

Trial Hack—Paphian" (C. Stratton) 1, Flying Nell 2, Rose of Athens 3. Scratched: Miss Star, Panache, Lady Thurham, Scotch Mixture, Achilleon, Sjmoretta, Demoness, Pakaraka, Amaryllis, Young Thurnham, Ngatiapa, Rowan. Won by a head, with a length between second and third. Time, lmin 2 i-ssec.

Rangitikei Hunt Cup—Onipoto (H. BurS) I, Gaekwar 2, Nieomar 3. Nicomar fell, L. Perry breaking his collarbone. F. Lind rode Nieomar home, getting third place. Papatere baulked and Three Bells ran off. Scratched: Tirau and Stetson. Won by threequarters of a length. Time, 6.20. Crofton Handicap—-Molyneaux (R. Reed) 1, Stork 2, Quest 3. Scratched: Starland, Trespass, Independence. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 1.51.
