HUTT ROAD

WELLINGTON, July 11
The much debated proposals to reconstruct the main Hutt road in concrete was discussed at a meeting of the Hutt Road Board. The question of raising money *to pay the charges incidental to high-grade roads was also discussed. It was agreed that a conference of local bodies- in and around Wellington should be arranged to discuss the whole question ofvroad policy.
